"Hunger Games" directed by Gary Ross.
Reflection
...The trailer of the movie Hunger Games is a primary example of the theme concept fear. Although hunger games is not real it does embody some realistic qualities in relation to fear. In the movie Prim is chosen to be the very "lucky" tribute, but Katniss, Prim's sister promises to keep her safe, therefore when Prim is selected Katniss volunteers as tribute. In reality we try and protect the ones we love, but end up putting ourselves in the line of fire. What we fear for others is something we fear deeply ourselves. Frightening experiences can bring people together as seen in the hunger games. An individual can experience behaviour alterations when Traumatic event takes place as it was expressed through my flash fiction when Thomas gets into a car crash he is paranoid that another troubling situation could take place a good example is the following excerpt "Although Thomas had to go about living life, everything he did was a risk.Thomas refused to eat any food unless it was tested by another person. He had to wear clothes that covered him from head to toe, in order to stay out of harms way." as Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "Fear defeats more people than any other one thing in the world." both the hunger game tributes and Thomas have lost either physically or emotionally their own lives when fear was accepted.
